Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Manager leading the testing efforts for a large-scale, multi- year transformation program
• At least 5 years experience in Property and Casualty insurance domain
• Experience starting QA activities from the discovery phase of the project, influence the test scope, talk about value of testing, capability to build the right mix of the testing team
• Experience building test strategy and test plan documents, test evaluation reports, and accurate effort estimations, and review with project managers, architects and product owners.
• At least 5 years experience in leading a team of manual / automation / data testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback and should also be hands-on in software testing
• Must have strong communication skills to handle multiple areas/business SMEs/project teams
• Should have leadership skills, thought leadership, and a self-runner
• Work from office for 3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience using Azure DevOps for defect management, sprint backlog maintenance, and test case management
• Hands-on experience in developing and executing automation test cases in Type script / C# using Microsoft Playwright is a good to have

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Test Manager to lead the testing efforts for a large-scale, multi-year transformation program. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining and executing comprehensive test strategies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions, and providing critical leadership throughout the testing lifecycle. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and leadership to drive successful program outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Test Leadership:
• Develop and implement test strategy ensuring alignment with business objectives and project timelines.
• Define and execute an automation test strategy
• Establish clear test phases, toll gates, and go/no-go criteria to manage end-to-end testing.
Test Planning & Execution:
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test plans, test strategy documents, test evaluation reports, and accurate effort estimations.
• Manage and oversee the execution of system integration testing (SIT), functional testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all testing-related activities, maintaining clear and consistent communication with business SMEs, scrum masters, development teams, and senior leadership.
• Provide regular status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective collaboration and ensure alignment among all stakeholders.
Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
• Establish and enforce quality standards to ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
• Identify and proa ctively address potential risks, developing and implementing effective mitigation plans.
• Make go/no-go decisions based off test results and the toll gate criteria.
Team Leadership:
• Lead a team of testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
