The Account Manager applies foundational knowledge of account management practices to build and sustain strong customer relationships within assigned portfolio. This role owns its outcomes through disciplined execution of account plans, cross-functional coordination, and data-informed customer support. The Account Manager is the primary point of contact for assigned customers and works within established processes and with guidance from senior team members to deliver solutions that drive client satisfaction and business growth.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop working understanding of division growth strategies and apply that knowledge to prioritize account activity andidentifyopportunities within assigned portfolio.
  • Build andmaintainstrong, long-lasting customer relationships through consistent communication, proactive outreach, and delivery of exceptional service.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned customers, owning day-to-dayrelationshipsand ensuringtimely, professional responses to inquiries and needs.
  • Develop andmaintainaccount plans thatidentifycustomer goals, opportunities for growth, and potential risks; update regularly to reflect changes in account status.
  • Identifyupsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and communicate findings to Account Executives to advance revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to coordinatetimely, successful delivery of solutions aligned to customers' needs andobjectives.
  • Partner withinventorymanagement team to contribute to andmaintainaccuratesales forecasts for assigned accounts.
  • Oversee accuracy ofrecords in Salesforce;leveragethe platform to manageandtrackaccountactivity andsupport pipeline visibility.
  • Manage the end-to-end order process for assigned accounts using Esker, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with customer purchase order requirements.
  • Supportaccurateandtimelymanagement of the sales forecast by contributing to opportunity management within assigned accounts as needed.
  • Monitor account performance, prepare regular reports, and deliver data-driven insights to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Developdetailed knowledge of pricing strategy and customer purchase order requirements to ensureaccurateaccount management.
  • Address concerns and resolve issues promptly, escalating asappropriate, tomaintainhigh levelsofcustomersatisfaction.
  • Represent Standard Textile atcustomermeetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
  • Direct CustomerExperienceteam on routinecustomerfulfillment tasks, maintaining focus on high-impact account management activities.

Qualifications include:

  • Previousexperience in account management, project management, sales, or related fieldrequired; bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Applies conceptual knowledge of account management principles,customerrelationship strategies, and sales processes to guide day-to-day work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to exchange information clearly and check for understanding across a variety of audiences
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities; capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously within established procedures
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret account performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Proficiencyin Salesforce and Microsoft Office
  • Able to work independently on consistent, procedurally guided tasks while receiving direction and guidance from senior team members
  • Customer-focused, proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented; approaches challenges with curiosity and solutions-oriented mindset
