Credence has an immediate opening for a Security Manager HQ AFMC/A4/10-3007.0 at the journeyman level supporting Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command (HQ AFMC) A4/10 in Reston, VA. The HQ AFMC Directorate of Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection, and Nuclear Integration (A4/10) is responsible for shaping the workforce and infrastructure needed to deliver logistics, sustainment, installation support, and force protection capabilities across the command. This includes providing oversight for acquisition logistics, supply chain management, depot maintenance, base-level logistics operations, and enterprise security programs. Additionally, the directorate delivers strategic facility and infrastructure oversight while providing command-wide direction for Major Command (MAJCOM) security operations, ensuring the readiness and responsiveness required to support war-winning expeditionary capabilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below: * Support HQ AFMC A2's efforts in managing the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) program, including authority over HQ AFMC SCIFs from initial design/development through continuing accreditation and final decommissioning.
* Coordinate decision-making among stakeholders and serve as an Authorizing Official (AO) to assist with HQ AFMC A2's roles and responsibilities.
* Review customer processes for policy compliance, including Concept Validation Requests, SCIF Fixed Facility Checklists, Construction Security Plans, TEMPEST forms, and SCIF co-utilization requests.
* Prepare, coordinate, and communicate responses in Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) communications.
* Assist with SCIF security designs, including security system integration, design, management, and life cycle support.
* Identify security vulnerabilities and support implementation of preventive measures.
* Oversee and implement the quality management system.
* Inspect, analyze, and evaluate new and existing physical security systems.
* Assess the adequacy of security and management control systems.
* Monitor how sensitive material is handled and used.
* Recommend corrective actions and adjustments when security requirements are not observed.
* Document findings and recommendations.
* Establish, develop, and design security solutions and product improvements.
* Maintain databases of SCIF resources, including receipt, storage, inventory, and disposition of SCIFs.
* Conduct executive-level briefings. Requirements Education, Requirements and Qualifications: * Must have an active or current Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information and POLY eligibility, verifiable in DISS.
* Must be able to work on-site.
Minimum Recommended Education and Experience for Journeyman: * BA/BS and at least three (3) years of experience in the relevant technical/professional discipline being performed with proper certifications required in the labor category performance requirements
* OR six (6) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the labor category performance requirements.
* Must have experience with the SCIF accreditation process and governance in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117; National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM); Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, ICD 705-1, and ICD 705-2.
* Experience with NIST SP 800-53, Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and Organizations.
