Job description

Contract Program Security Officer

We're looking for an experienced Contract Program Security Officer to support classified Aerospace U.S. Government programs in a hands-on, high-ownership environment. This role owns security execution for multiple programs and works closely with program managers, government customers, and internal teams to enable compliant, secure program delivery. This is an opportunity to stand up programs, shape security operations, and influence outcomes—not just maintain checklists.

What You'll Do:

  • Own security execution for 1–2 primary classified programs, with secondary support across others
  • Stand up security for new contract wins and program transitions
  • Support ICD 705 SCIF preparation, upgrades, and accreditation
  • Apply TEMPEST requirements to facilities, systems, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with NISPOM and support RMF activities in coordination with IT security teams
  • Develop and maintain OPSEC plans, Program Protection Plans, SOPs, and security artifacts
  • Partner with program managers and government customers to support inspections and readiness
  • Contribute to RFP and proposal efforts for new opportunities

What We're Looking For:

  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • 2+ years supporting classified programs (SAP and/or SCI)
  • Hands-on experience with ICD 705, TEMPEST, NISPOM, and RMF
  • Experience standing up programs or facilities from scratch
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to navigate grey areas while staying compliant
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial security environment
