We're Looking For:

We are seeking a National Commercial Account Coordinator with experience in efficiently managing, reporting and scheduling the inventory and sale of vehicles through OPENLANE's platforms. As part of a National Account team, you will support the administration of assigned accounts across all 14 Vehicle Logistic Centers (VLC's) in Canada. You'll liaise with local VLC contacts to support the vehicle and personal property redemption process for repo units.

You Are:

  • Organized: You will manage a range of accounts, ensuring customer SLA's are consistently met and manage communication flow.

  • Collaborative: You work closely with other teams and stakeholders to identify and address concerns.

  • Detail Oriented: You ensure sales vehicles meet account specifications.

  • Customer-Focused: You provide prompt, courteous service and resolve customer issues in a friendly manner.

  • Adaptable: You demonstrate flexibility in handling changing work environments.

  • Proactive: You identify and address areas of concern, involving leadership as necessary.

You Will:

  • Manage the Sales & Inventory Lifecycle: Coordinate the sale of commercial vehicles by determining vehicle lineups, generating sales agreements, and negotiating pending bids. You'll also ensure vehicles meet specifications by assessing condition reports and obtaining authorization for repairs.

  • Handle Data & Systems Administration: Accurately enter and manage data in our systems, including vehicle information, registrations, transportation requests, and vehicle status updates through our portal.

  • Drive Customer Communication & Support: Ensure customer satisfaction by communicating with clients, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner, and responding to inquiries related to the repossession/redemption process.

  • Perform Financial & Reporting Duties: Generate inventory and sales reports from our systems. You will also process payments, file sales transactions, and transmit sales reports and EFT wire transfers.

  • Collaborate and Provide Team Support: Work closely with other Commercial Account Reps to train as a backup for other accounts and support other administrative tasks as required.

Must Haves:

  • High school education or equivalent

  • 1-3 years of related experience in account coordination

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google Suite

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Able to work with minimal supervision, contributing to team results

Nice to Haves:

  • Prior experience in commercial account management is a definite asset

  • Prior experience within the automotive remarketing industry

  • Experience with AMS, VTrace, and other OPENLANE systems

  • Ability to identify value-added repairs and services is an asset

  • Bilingual in English and French would be considered a an asset.

    • This role may require you to interact with customers, leaders, and colleagues in Quebec, other provinces, or other countries who may not speak French
