Role & Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain company devices and related hardware and software to ensure usability
  • Maintain knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques.
  • Identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee and contribute to the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer hardware, operating systems, network servers, virtualization and supporting network and storage infrastructure.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and handle the procurement of computer hardware, software and accessories.
  • Manage IT Asset inventory from procurement to retirement
  • Primary liaison with HR for onboarding and offboarding employees
  • New hires – maintain visibility to all incoming new hires and ensure delivery of technology prior to start date
  • Terminations - PC wipe, data recovery/preservation and redistribution
  • Jobsite setup (laptops, iPads, Printers); installing networking routers for mobilization
  • Remote assistance: Provide technical support via phone, email or Teams
  • Answering user queries, providing technical guidance, and assist with technology operations
  • Serving as the first point of contact for IT support within the organization.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
  • Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
  • Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
  • Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
  • Managing technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with MS Office & Teams
  • Occasional travel to jobsites

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least five years of IT Service Coordinator or Desktop Support or similar roles, A+, N+, MCP, MCSA, ITIL certification is not required but preferred.
  • Skilled IT workplace support: hardware & software support & troubleshooting (Windows OS), printer support & maintenance, computer Infrastructure and networking, Microsoft Office 365, Android & IOS support. Basic networking knowledge
  • Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • Communication and collaboration proficiency, flexibility, strong technology capacity, initiative, attention to detail, organizational skills, time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple problems simultaneously
  • Continually drives for results, strives for improvement, creates trust with character and action, teams up successfully, solves complex problems and builds other people.
