We are currently seeking an IT Operations & Maintenance Manager to support our team.

The IT Operations & Maintenance manager will oversee design, implementation, operations, and maintenance of IT infrastructure. Manage IT Operations personnel. Interface with LM client to optimize LM Enterprise Network performance within the constraints of budget and cybersecurity ensuring the needs of the LMSP customers are met.

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead IT Operations and Maintenance (IT O&M) Department personnel ensuring each team member performs his/her job safely.
  • Primarily responsible for the reliable and secure operation of the LM Enterprise Network and providing help desk and desktop support to LM clients and LMSP customers.
  • Communicate with the Client and LMSP customers to understand short-term and long-term goals including desired upgrades to the Network and provide status of IT O&M activities.
  • Ensure the IT O&M team provides excellent customer service by understanding the needs of the LMSP customer and the mission of DOE-Legacy Management.
  • Manage Fiscal Year budgets for IT O&M.
  • Identify and provide constructive feedback to employees and provide mentorship as appropriate.
  • Actively coordinate the recruitment of staff.
  • Approve Standard IT Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Network Operations Team.
  • Represent LM and LMSP in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate excellent technical skills and proficiency with design, implementation, and support of Microsoft solutions, enterprise server, storage, network, and virtualization components.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, and EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related STEM field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with 5 of those years in leadership.
  • Licenses: Valid Driver's License
  • Certifications: No professional certification required

Compensation Details:

$164,701.72 - $208,533.63
