About the Role
Coastal Computer Consulting LLC is looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Brunswick, GA. This is not an entry-level position, we're looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on, professional IT support experience. Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral device problems
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications
  • Set up and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless networks, and firewalls
  • Support Microsoft 365 and other common business technology platforms
  • Respond to help desk tickets and client service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide both remote support and onsite support at client locations
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and security patching
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and IT procedures
  • Communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical users
  • Resolve 90%+ of client issues on first contact whenever possible
  • Maintain a 98%+ client satisfaction rating
  • Hit monthly goals with integrity, not shortcuts
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of professional, hands-on experience in IT support, help desk, MSP, or a client-facing technical support role is required. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, printers, and common business applications
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients in person, by phone, and remotely
  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users
  • A proactive, client-first attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 100 lbs
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check

Experience with any of the following is a plus:
  • Managed Service Provider (MSP) environments
