Position Summary

Casago Select Stays is seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of an assigned portfolio of vacation rental homes in the Shaver Lake area. This hands-on leadership role combines team management, property oversight, homeowner relationships, and operational performance.

You’ll lead and develop a local team, ensure homes consistently meet company standards, resolve escalated issues, and serve as a trusted point of contact for homeowners. The ideal candidate brings strong hospitality experience, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach to keeping people, properties, and operations performing at their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of employees through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and annual evaluations to support professional growth and ensure alignment with company goals.

  • Oversee daily operations and workflow management for an assigned portfolio of properties to optimize team productivity and meet departmental objectives. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement process enhancements that drive efficiency and quality.

  • Provide cross-coverage for your team and fellow managers when necessary.

  • Conduct regular inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals to ensure company quality standards are met.

  • Support your team with escalated guest and homeowner concerns by responding to emails, phone calls, and support tickets.

  • Develop strong relationships with homeowners by proactively communicating and becoming the subject matter expert for their properties, ensuring they are clean, maintained, and well cared for.

  • Meet and maintain company standards and performance metrics, including Net Promoter Score (NPS), Standard Unit Appearance, and operational efficiency.

  • Support the management of portfolio budgets while adhering to established annual cost targets and performing cost-benefit analyses when appropriate.

  • Partner with the Sales team to assist in bringing on new properties.

  • Partner with the Owner Success team to ensure a smooth transition when new properties join the portfolio.

  • Perform light home maintenance tasks as needed, including replacing light bulbs, adjusting door hardware, unclogging toilets, and completing other minor repairs.

  • Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes open communication, innovation, and employee engagement. Address team conflicts constructively and promptly.

  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding new team members while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and company leadership.

  • Perform other duties as assigned because every day is different in hospitality.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience working in the hotel, hospitality, vacation rental, or similar industry required

  • Strong computer skills using laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and business software applications.

  • Reliable personal transportation with the ability to travel frequently between worksites.

  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to represent the company professionally.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in operational support roles such as housekeeping or maintenance is strongly preferred.

  • Prior supervisory or management experience in a similar industry is highly preferred.
