Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data / Product Analyst with strong SQL expertise and hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM), ETL processes, and Data Governance practices. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, engineering teams, and data architects to transform complex datasets into actionable business insights and support strategic product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights:
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities
Develop KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reports
Perform ad hoc analysis and root-cause investigations
Translate business requirements into analytical solutions
Support mortgage business process analysis and product lifecycle insights

SQL & Database Management:
Write complex and optimized SQL queries for extraction, transformation, and analysis
Work across SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL, and Snowflake environments
Create and maintain views, stored procedures, functions, and validation scripts
Perform query optimization and performance tuning

Product Analytics:
Partner with Product Managers to define product metrics and success criteria
Analyze customer behavior, feature adoption, and usage trends
Support A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
Build data models to measure product performance and business impact

Master Data Management (MDM):
Support MDM implementation and governance initiatives
Define data standards, hierarchies, golden records, and reference data
Participate in data cleansing, deduplication, and harmonization efforts

ETL & Data Integration:
Support ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines
Validate source-to-target data movement and reconciliation processes
Monitor ETL performance and resolve data quality issues

Data Governance & Quality:
Support enterprise data governance and compliance initiatives
Implement and monitor data quality checks and controls
Document metadata, lineage, business rules, and governance processes

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business, product, engineering, QA, and architecture teams
Gather and document requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders
Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly and effectively

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Product Analytics, or related roles
Advanced SQL expertise with complex query writing and optimization skills
Experience with SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL, and Snowflake
Strong understanding of MDM concepts and data governance frameworks
Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools like Informatica or Talend
Knowledge of data quality, lineage, metadata, and compliance standards
Experience creating dashboards, KPIs, and analytical reports
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with ODS/EDW data modeling concepts is a plus
Mortgage or Financial domain experience preferred
