Job description

Join a progressive and well-supported surgical team as a Physician Assistant in General Surgery with a leading not-for-profit health system in Findlay, OH. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside expert surgeons and gain exposure to robot-assisted procedures, complex cases, and a wide scope of clinical responsibilities across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • First-assist in the operating room for general surgery procedures

  • Manage post-op rounding and inpatient surgical consults

  • Write progress notes and collaborate with physicians on care plans

  • Conduct physical exams and manage acute surgical and critical care conditions

  • Place preoperative orders and evaluate clinic consults

  • Coordinate post-operative care plans and patient/family education

  • Interpret imaging (CT, Ultrasound) and make clinical recommendations

  • Handle patient calls and questions during weekday hours
