Job description

Proof of the Pudding is the exclusive food & beverage provider at Road Atlanta. The on-site fast, casual dining restaurant is hiring for seasonal shifts. These positions offer competitive pay, leadership opportunities, and flexible weekend schedules. Road Atlanta is host to and has working opportunities for major events like Motul Petit Le Mans, Drift Atlanta, and the The Mitty.

RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR

The Restaurant Supervisor will oversee all front of house and back of house day to day operations of the on-site fast, casual dining restaurant. They will be the lead contact for all staff and guests. This position will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in Interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, counseling restaurant staff
  • Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure that all Proof of the Pudding standards and steps of service are met through all guests interactions
  • Ensuring that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the staff
  • Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary
  • Ensure staffing levels for all outlets are accurate based on hotel and outlet business levels. Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff, such as house count and menu changes
  • Oversee with any pop-up catering or large call in orders
  • Lead food safety initiatives to ensure quality and safety are a top priority

Specialized Skills:

  • 1+ year of experience in a leadership role in a restaurant
  • Must have ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of movement, moving through a limited space, and walking on various surfaces
  • Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
  • Must have ability to frequently lift up to 60 lbs, push 150 pounds, and bend, lift, and carry product and equipment constantly

Position Salary & Benefits:

  • This is considered an hourly position with hours fluctuating based on the events schedule
    • Some weeks will have ample overtime while others may be limited
  • Benefits include paid travel expenses, lodging expenses, daily per diem, and meals onsite.
