Description of the role

A Subaru Vehicle Exchange Specialist works within Findlay Subaru Prescott to generate new sales by identifying and engaging with current service customers who may be interested in trading in their vehicle and or selling us their vehicle. Using customer data, they assess potential trade-in opportunities and present customized offers to encourage customers to upgrade to a newer model. This role serves as a key link between the service and sales departments.

Job summary

The Vehicle Exchange Specialist is responsible for acquiring pre-owned vehicles from our existing service department and customer database. This specialist engages with customers during their service visits to assess their vehicles for trade-in value, manages a database of potential prospects, and facilitates the exchange process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Customer engagement: Greet and build rapport with service customers to identify their vehicle needs and preferences.
  • Customer database management: Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and data mining software to identify and contact customers with high-equity trade potential.
  • Appraisal and offer presentation: Coordinate vehicle appraisals and present compelling, tailored trade-in offers to customers based on their vehicle's value.
  • Lead generation and follow-up: Make daily outbound calls, texts, and emails to generate new sales appointments. Follow up with customers who did not immediately exchange their vehicle.
