Job Title: Retail Manager

Job Summary: The Retail Store Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and personnel of TruConnect retail store. Duties include recruiting, staffing, training, coaching and supervising employees, and managing store’s daily operations within goals and expectations. Will establish and maintain an environment to support sales and service.

Duties & Responsibilities: Key functions include the following (other duties may be assigned)

  • Successfully motives staff to meet/exceed sales targets, provide superior service and project positive company image.
  • Responsible for reviewing the quality of orders submitted by individual sales agent and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Effectively coordinate and manage sales and customer support activities
  • Document disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and reports incidents to Human Resources and Management regarding any violations of company policy/procedures and preparing related documentation.
  • Ensures adequate staffing by recruiting and hiring new employees
  • Ensure the accuracy, completion and reconciliation of all financial transactions and operation of point-of–sale terminals
  • Effective management of Inventory control.
  • Manages daily cash handling and account payable activity.
  • Compute monthly sales reports for management to review
  • Ensure safety and security standards are met
  • Stay current on new technologies and competitive environment
  • Manage monthly targets for sales agents and review monthly results with sales team.
  • Successfully motives staff to meet/exceed sales targets, provide superior service and project positive company image
  • Resolves customer escalations by working closely with internal departments.
  • Ensure Truconnect store presentation is up to company standards.
  • Analyzes various business reports for strategic planning purposes
  • Ensure safety and security company standards are met
  • Provide strategic direction to ensure the communication, implementation and execution of marketing programs
  • Facilitate meetings such as training sessions and other promotional events

Qualifications: The Store Manager position requires 100% involvement with both employees and customers. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 3-5 years sales management experience in telecommunications and/or retail industry
  • Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish). Fluent in Spanish.
  • Experience in an environment requiring multi-tasking
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in employee management and ability to get measurable results.
  • Sets high standards of performance for self and others
  • Ability to operate a computer, wireless equipment, iPad Tablet, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and web-based applications.

Education Level: High School Diploma (Required), Bachelor's Degree (Preferred), or equivalent experience

Compensation: Salary Base + Commission
