About the Role

As a Manager or Senior Manager, you will lead complex, strategic research and consulting engagements across the healthcare product lifecycle. You'll serve as the day-to-day client lead, drive insight generation, and help connect project work to client strategy. You'll also play a key role in developing junior team members, shaping project design, and contributing to internal initiatives and business growth.

This role is ideal for someone who brings a mix of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a desire to grow both client accounts and team talent. Seniority level will be calibrated based on experience and demonstrated impact.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and manage multiple, complex research projects from design through delivery
  • Translate client objectives into actionable research plans and methodologies
  • Oversee timelines, deliverables, team workflow, and quality control across project workstreams
  • Structure and lead strategic analyses that connect data to insight and insight to action
  • Guide and QC client deliverables to a final, client-ready state

Client Engagement & Strategic Thinking

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients across projects
  • Lead client meetings and insight discussions; present findings with clarity and confidence
  • Build therapeutic area expertise and connect insights to product lifecycle needs
  • Proactively surface opportunities to add value beyond the immediate scope of work
  • Develop proposals, client materials, and strategic recommendations in collaboration with senior leaders

Team Development & Coaching

  • Mentor and support junior team members through clear feedback and thoughtful delegation
  • Model strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership behaviors
  • Proactively share knowledge, coach new hires, and facilitate collaborative ways of working
  • Contribute to team culture by participating in trainings, recruiting, and internal initiatives

Business & Operational Contribution

  • Help evolve best practices and innovative approaches for project delivery
  • Support account growth by identifying client opportunities and contributing to strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams on operational improvements and process design

Requirements

Required for Manager Level:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in healthcare consulting, strategy, or insights
  • Proven ability to manage research projects and lead small teams
  • Experience presenting to clients and owning day-to-day relationships
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Proficiency with a range of methodologies and data sources (qualitative, quantitative, secondary)

Required for Senior Manager Level:

  • 6-8+ years of experience in strategic research or consulting in healthcare/life sciences
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex engagements and generate client impact
  • Experience building and growing client accounts
  • Strong track record of mentoring others and driving cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to develop proposals, guide insight strategy, and serve as a trusted advisor
