Job description

Description:

Responsible for safely and efficiently fueling passenger vehicles with gasoline and diesel, dispensing propane, and providing exceptional customer service. Maintains cleanliness and safety protocols at the gas station and propane area, as well as surrounding parking lot. This role additionally works in close partnership with the convenience store staff, assisting in store when not performing tasks at the gas islands. This will involve handling cash transactions with accuracy, assisting with merchandise stock and display. Duties also include completing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements:
  • A minimum three months related vehicle fueling experience is preferred.
  • At least six-months cash-handling experience is a required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and fuel multiple vehicles simultaneously required.
  • Self-motivated and able to complete tasks without constant direction.
  • Maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

This position functions primarily outside at our gas station pumps. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold and hot weather. The employee may be required to stand for prolonged periods of time, operate a cash register, and communicate verbally and in writing. Must be able to communicate with a two-way radio.
