Position: Salesforce Analyst (multiple openings)
Job Location: 101 Parkhaven Drive, Danville, CA 94506
With a moderate degree of independent decision-making capability and minimum supervision, the Salesforce Analyst will be responsible for the following job duties:
1. Analyze Salesforce platform designs and architectural programs, evaluate engineering and business needs, and develop processing systems that align Salesforce solutions with
business needs. Specifically:
-Conducting functional analysis, requirements gathering, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance of standalone object-oriented enterprise specification in agile/scrum development methodology;
-Creating use cases, user stories, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, traceability matrix, test diagram for various Salesforce projects;
-Participating in mitigation, status reports, client presentations, defining milestones, deliverables, and establishing successful critical factors;
2. Responsibilities in systems analysis, systems structures, and data warehousing, and setting up the base configuration for Salesforce applications. It includes:
- Setting up Marketing cloud features including Campaign management, Lead, Lead Conversion, etc;
- Configuring Sales cloud and Service cloud functionalities like Account management, Quoting module, Business / Support Processes, Case Management, Knowledge Base, Call Center, Live Agent, Solutions, Ideas, Communities (Customer/Partner);
- Analyzing and configuring different layouts of Salesforce including Service Console, Classic, Lightning, Lightning Console;
3. Monitor Salesforce programs and systems and coordinate the installation and configuration of computer programs and systems. To do that:
- Configure, install, and deploy custom objects, entity-relationship data models, formulas, validation rules on objects, page layouts, custom tabs, components, roles, profiles, permission
sets, custom settings, and labels to suit the need of the application;
- Monitor AppExchange applications installed in Salesforce the organization required for Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud-like Apttus CPQ, CTI, Marketo, Case Merge, etc;
- Coordinate with the development team to install tools required for development and continuous integration of metadata such as Eclipse, Ant, Force.com IDE, etc;
- Coordinate with the data migration team to configure data migration tools such as Salesforce Data loader, Pentaho, Dataloader.io, Import wizard, etc;
4. Coordinate with software developers and technical architects to modify database structure and revise existing systems. To do that, Work with stakeholders to execute data modeling, data extraction, transformation, data loading, and query salesforce database using SOQL and SOSL using Apex schema explorer and engage in the process improvement for all aspects of Salesforce CRM including data integrity and maintenance;
5. Create business process/requirements and technical documents. This includes translating the business and user requirements into system requirements, mapping functional requirements to Salesforce.com features and functionality, and preparing Technical Design documents comprising of technical specifications that are aligned with business objectives; and
6. Travel required to unanticipated client sites in the U.S.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent in IT, CE, CS or closely related field, and Five (5) years progressive professional experience as a Salesforce Analyst/Consultant; CSA/BSA or closely related occupation.
Requirements
Must have experience with:
1. Functional Skills (expertise in at least three of the functional areas):
a. Salesforce Sales Cloud;
b. Salesforce Service Cloud;
c. Salesforce B2B Lightning Commerce;
d. Salesforce CPQ; and
e. Salesforce Billing;
2. Programming Language: Lightning Web Component, Apex;
3. Web Technologies: AJAX, Java Script, HTML5, XML; and
4. Tools: Force.com IDE, Dataloader.io, Source code management tool, DevOps tool, Jira, Google Suite.
