POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for developing and executing a strategy that enables the sales team with the tools, training, and resources needed to succeed. This role focuses on improving sales effectiveness, tracking performance metrics, and aligning the sales process with organizational goals. The manager collaborates closely with sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to drive sales productivity and support revenue growth.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and manage Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory reports
• Lead Excess & Obsolete inventory prevention and resolution initiatives
• Manage internal scrap process and reporting
• Create and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Sales and the Sales Operations team.
• Manage customer surcharge calculations and processes.
• Conduct customer potential analysis.
• Manage relationship and projects with BI team as it relates to Sales Operations, Sales KPI/Dashboards, and other sales related needs.
• Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, including training, reporting, and optimization.
• Manages and Directs work of functional team, including hiring, corrective action, performance appraisals and pay review, budget and processes.
• Ability to lead and motivate a large team, manage performance, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment in accordance to Wurth basic principles.
• Implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge, including new employee onboarding.
• Manage workforce planning, staffing, and labor relations to meet operational requirements.
• Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and process refinement.
• Foster a culture of learning and innovation within the sales team.
• Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and methodologies to improve overall sales effectiveness.
• Scale programs across teams and regions to ensure consistent support and success.
• All other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a sales-related role, with at least 2 years of experience in a sales operations or enablement capacity.
• Proven experience in developing and executing sales enablement strategies.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Organizational skills to ensure good time management and timely progression through projects.
• Ability to prioritize duties and manage work requests coming from various sources.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work products.
• Knowledge of SAP a plus.
• Sales and customer service (internal/external) focus.
• Understands big picture company goals and how they are supported by individual success.
