Job description

Overview

Serves as a greeter at various hospital departments and facilities. Responsible for observing, monitoring, and reporting activities at HH Health System. Responsible for constant monitoring of visitors for Safety & Security rules compliance and immediate violence de-escalation when needed. Reports all incidents and violations immediately and submits a written report to security management.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:Education/Certification:High School diploma or GED required. Some college preferred. Must have the following within initial:

  • CPR certification
  • Management Of Aggressive Behavior
  • IAHSS Basic certification (Within 90 days of employment )

Experience:Customer service experience required and experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Must possess a driver's license and be insurable by HH standards.Additional Skills/Abilities:Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Excellent customer service and communication skills needed with the ability to enforce policies in an assertive, yet courteous manner. Must possess some computer skills with ability to use word processing and spreadsheet applications.
