Job description

Wharton-Smith, Inc is currently seeking an experiencedย Senior Project Superintendentย withย Water/Wastewater backgroundย for the Fort Myers area. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the direction and daily supervision of all job site field personnel on assigned projects. Responsibilities also include maintaining safety, owner satisfaction, cost, schedule, and quality control.

Compensation

$135,200+ย  annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

This position is also eligible for performance-based bonuses twice a year and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and company vehicle.

Required Qualifications:

Superintendent Level

10-15 years of total construction experience.

Minimum of the most recent 5+ years as a Superintendent (required).

Candidates must currently be working in water/wastewater.

Senior Superintendent Level

15โ€“20 years of total construction experience (20+ preferred).

Minimum of the most recent 10+ years as a Superintendent (required).

Candidates must currently be working in water/wastewater.

Additional Qualifications:

  • High School diploma.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Presentation experience.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Software (PMIS) .
  • Valid Driver License and ability to commute to job sites.
