Location: Jimmy John's | Reports to: General Manager

 Your Role at a Glance:

As a Shift Manager, you're not just running a shift—you’re learning to run the show. You'll take the lead in daily operations, support your team, and ensure every sandwich is served fast, fresh, and with a smile. If you're hungry for growth, this is your chance to learn the ins and outs of store leadership and work your way toward becoming an Assistant Manager—or higher!
Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of your shift by overseeing food prep, customer service, and store cleanliness.
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members during your shift.
  • Jump in where needed—taking orders, making sandwiches, or helping drivers deliver excellence.
  • Ensure every customer gets world-class service.
  • Manage product prep and inventory during your shift.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Execute store systems and processes with consistency and integrity.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to keep things running efficiently.
Growth Opportunity:

We’re invested in your success. Shift Managers who demonstrate strong leadership and performance will be considered for promotion into Assistant Manager roles. You’ll gain exposure to:
  • Staff scheduling and performance reviews
  • Inventory ordering and food cost management
  • Operations planning and store profitability strategies
Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet for the entire shift.
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current insurance.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
