Position Summary

Practice patient service rep. proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment; answers incoming phone calls, responds to general patient requests, takes telephone messages and schedules patient appointments.

Position Requirements

  • Education and Previous Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

  • Hardware/Software Experience

  • Practice management/medical billing computer programs.

  • Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel)

  • Other Characteristics

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Detailed oriented

  • Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and develop applicable policies and procedures (e.g., regarding collections)

  • Flexible; able to adapt to change

  • Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities a plus
