  • Provide recommendations to leadership regarding reserves, underwriting guidelines, pricing strategies, and program structure.
  • Lead quarterly and annual business reviews by synthesizing complex operational, underwriting, actuarial, and financial data into executive-level insights.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on portfolio profitability, reserve adequacy, underwriting strategy, pricing effectiveness, and risk management decisions.
  • Develop long-term portfolio performance forecasts and recommend strategic actions to improve profitability and growth.
  • Evaluate new products, distribution channels, and market opportunities through quantitative risk and financial analysis.
  • Develop and enhance early performance indicator reporting and analytical models to identify emerging trends in profitability, claims performance, reserve development, and risk selection.

  • Develop scenario analysis and stress-testing models to evaluate emerging risks and changing market conditions.
  • Partner with IT to enhance data structures, data quality, governance, and system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with actuarial and underwriting teams to develop rate-level reporting and analyses that evaluate the effectiveness of reserve and pricing changes.

AI & Process Automation (20%)
  • Lead opportunities to leverage AI, automation, machine learning, and advanced analytics to improve underwriting, risk management, and reporting workflows.
  • Implement tools and models that streamline decision-making, including exception handling, claims trend detection, and predictive risk monitoring.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to incorporate AI-driven insights into operational and business processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, accuracy, and process optimization.
  • Utilize statistical, predictive, machine learning, and AI methodologies to improve risk selection, forecasting accuracy, and portfolio profitability.
