Job description

Wealth Advisor — Eugene, Oregon

Oregon Pacific Wealth Management (OPWM)

A Registered Investment Advisor and wholly owned subsidiary of Oregon Pacific Bank

Who We Are

Oregon Pacific Wealth Management is a client-first RIA built on relationships, not product quotas. Since 2016, we've helped individuals, families, and business owners across Oregon plan for what matters most through comprehensive financial planning and investment management.

We're a wholly owned subsidiary of Oregon Pacific Bank, a community bank serving Coos Bay, Eugene, Florence, Medford, Portland, and Roseburg. That relationship gives our advisors something most independent RIAs can't offer: a built-in referral pipeline from established banking and trust relationships across the state.

About the Role

We're hiring an experienced Wealth Advisor to serve the Eugene market. This is a seat for someone who wants the autonomy of an independent practice with the stability, infrastructure, and referral flow of a community bank behind them.

You'll be the primary point of contact for Eugene-area clients and the go-to partner for OPB banking and Trust Services referrals in the region. You'll build and manage your own book, deliver holistic financial planning, and shape how OPWM shows up in the Eugene community.

  • Reports to: Chief Investment Officer / Company Manager
  • Location: Eugene, OR (primarily in-office, with occasional work-from-home flexibility)
  • Employment type: Full-time, W-2

What You'll Do

  • Grow your practice through prospecting, events, seminars, networking, and referrals
  • Partner with OPB branch and Trust Services teams to convert internal referrals into long-term client relationships
  • Deliver personalized financial planning and investment advice across retirement, tax, estate, and investment strategies
  • Conduct client meetings and lead planning presentations in one-on-one and group settings
  • Maintain proactive, year-round client contact so strategies evolve with clients' lives
  • Represent OPWM in the Eugene community through visibility, partnerships, and thought leadership
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics, compliance, and fiduciary responsibility

What You Bring

Required:

  • Active FINRA Series 65 license
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of sales experience in financial services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that includes HNW/UHNW client work
  • Proven track record of building relationships and growing a book of business
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

What sets candidates apart:

  • CFP® designation (or willingness to pursue — sponsorship available)
  • Established roots in the Eugene community
  • Experience prospecting, acquiring, and retaining clients
  • Strong grasp of financial planning, investments, tax, retirement, and estate strategies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern financial planning tools

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $70,000 to $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience, professional qualifications, and the size and complexity of existing client relationships brought to the firm.
  • Annual Target Cash Bonus: Eligibility for an annual performance-based cash bonus, with payouts dependent upon practice growth, client retention, new business development, and achievement of individual and firm objectives.
  • Additional Incentives: May include participation in long-term incentive, revenue-sharing, or equity programs, as applicable.

Benefits

As an OPWM advisor, you're eligible for the full Oregon Pacific Bank benefits package, including:

  • Medical, vision, and prescription coverage
  • Dental coverage
  • Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) and HSA options
  • 401(k) with employer match — 100% of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2% of compensation
  • Discretionary profit sharing
  • Life, AD&D, short- and long-term disability
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Fitness benefit ($60/month reimbursement) and $50 annual branded apparel credit
  • Employee banking benefits, including waived fees on personal accounts and loan rate discounts

Why OPWM

  • Real referral flow, not just talking points. OPB's community banking and Trust Services teams generate warm introductions across six Oregon markets.
  • Community-rooted, not corporate. We're an independent RIA backed by a community bank with deep Oregon roots.
  • Modern platform. Industry-leading planning tools, technology, and dedicated operational and administrative support so you can stay client-focused.
  • Room to build. Freedom to shape your practice and market strategy, with a leadership team that's invested in your growth — including CFP® sponsorship.
  • Meaningful work. A true fiduciary, client-first model focused on holistic advice.

CORE BEHAVIORS for DELIVERING ON THE PROMISE

  • Be Genuine. Conduct yourself in a consistent, honest and compassionate manner at all times.
  • Work Ethic. Be willing to go the extra mile for the client, whether internal or external.
  • Influence. Be an active player in participating, building and contributing to service.
  • Continuous Learning. Commit to gaining knowledge, skills and experience on an ongoing basis in order to better serve the client, increase personal satisfaction and improve the Bank.
  • Team Play. We win together. Individuality is encouraged to advance and enrich the work of the team.
  • Problem Solving. Being creative, problem-solving mentality to every situation. See alternative, take initiative and assume responsibility for your actions.
  • Communication. Keep other informed and up-to-date. Actively listen and learn from each other.
  • Have a Sense of Community. We firmly believe that we’re only as strong as the communities we serve. Your involvement is an important part of who we are.
