Job description

Finance Manager (Renewable Energy)


We are seeking a highly motivated finance professional to support and lead structured financing activities for renewable energy projects. This role focuses on executing tax equity and debt transactions, managing investor and lender relationships, and developing financial models to support project and corporate decision-making. This position will report to the office Monday through Friday and the salary range is $130-170k, commensurate with experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage deployment of funds for existing tax equity and debt financings
  • Coordinate due diligence and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and third parties
  • Support and lead structuring, negotiation, and execution of new financing deals
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for projects and portfolios
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with development, engineering, and construction teams
  • Supervise and mentor analysts
  • Assist in evaluating strategic investment opportunities


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, energy, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in project finance, preferably in renewable energy
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Strong financial modeling skills and knowledge of tax equity and debt structures
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams


Preferred:

  • Experience with distributed generation (DG) solar projects
  • Demonstrated initiative and ownership mindset
