As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Restorative Touch Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting secure and confidential teletherapy sessions with individuals and groups via our designated telehealth platform, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Performing comprehensive emotional and mental health assessments to accurately identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Providing immediate crisis intervention, managing emergency situations, and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients during sessions.
• Assisting clients in accessing community resources, support groups, and social services to enhance their overall mental health and quality of life.
• Maintaining detailed and confidential electronic client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with ethical standards.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and colleagues to ensure coordinated and holistic care for each client, leveraging various perspectives to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Empowering clients through education on coping skills, self-care strategies, and effective communication techniques to help them manage their mental health independently.
• Engaging in continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest research, best practices in clinical social work, and advancements in teletherapy.

Your work will primarily focus on clients within a detox center setting, catering to individuals who are experiencing substance use issues and related mental health challenges. You will support a diverse client demographic, understanding that each person's journey and recovery path is unique. The flexibility of remote therapy enables you to build rapport and trust with clients, empowering them to address their needs in a comfortable setting.

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, particularly in dealing with substance use or mental health issues.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth technology and platforms for effective remote service delivery.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster meaningful client interactions.
• A strong commitment to ethical practices and maintaining strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive client information.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while effectively managing time and client schedules.
• Flexibility in availability to accommodate clients across varying time zones.

• Experience working within a detox center or similar mental health facility.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Prior engagement with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the treatment process for clients.
