About OVG
At OVG we help Finance organizations create value with our unique Agentic Performance Management (APM) approach.
We are in the early innings of the AI revolution, which is happening at lightspeed. Our goal is to equip our clients to thrive in the new paradigm with AI-native processes, systems, and skillsets for performance management.
We are taking a different approach from most consulting firms and software providers. Our APM solutions are not built on specialized CPM software - they're intended to disrupt traditional SaaS.
Built on open and interoperable Microsoft platforms - Fabric, Power Platform, M365, and Foundry - our APM solutions are more scalable, accessible, flexible, cost-effective, and cross-functional than CPM alternatives.
Our goal is to provide our clients with the best possible solutions, and we have already proven that our APM approach is both viable and effective with the majority of our client base.
About Our Team
Our team is purpose-built for this new world where AI radically changes the way organizations operate, consolidating roles and responsibilities. We are currently a team of 10-15 folks and pursuing steady, organic growth.
We work to instill a combination of business acumen, domain knowledge, and hands-on technical skills that create a force-multiplying effect that is transferable and as future-proof as possible.
We leverage this 'dual-threat' framework to deliver superior results and set our clients up for long-term success. As part of our team, you'll be on the leading age of practical AI adoption for Finance teams, their business partners, and leaders.
About the Role
In the Sr. Manager role, you will be equipped with foundational knowledge via our APM training program so you can hit the ground running. You'll typically lead lean teams of 2-3 and engage directly with clients across a variety of industries and growth stages. Our clients range from Series B/C startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.
Representative activities include the following:
  • Engagement Management
    • Managing senior client relationships
    • Building and managing to roadmaps
    • Managing OVG team members
  • Project Execution
    • Scoping and requirements gathering
    • Process evaluation and design
    • Technology evaluation and architecture
    • Project management
    • Client training and change management
    • Advisory and support
  • Solution Delivery
    • Microsoft Fabric: finance data warehouses, pipelines, data flows, SQL/Python-based forecasting and automation, reporting
    • M365: 3-statement models, management reporting packages, forecasting templates
    • Microsoft Power Platform: apps and workflows
    • Anthropic/OpenAI/Copilot: AI agents connected to Fabric
  • Internal Contributions
    • Developing product offerings and training materials
    • Improving internal processes and applications
    • Supporting business development efforts

Some travel may be involved but not more than 20% in total. Our team is US-based and we operate remotely as a baseline.

Experience qualifications include:
  • 5-10 years of intensive finance and/or consulting experience, ideally a combination of mid-/senior-level FP&A experience and hands-on finance transformation experience.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft 365 - Excel, PowerPoint
  • Deep financial modeling and technical experience required - CPM software such as Anaplan, Oracle EPM, Pigment, and/or analytics solutions such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, GCP, etc.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and experience working directly with executive clients and business stakeholders
  • Track record of mentorship and development of others
  • Willingness and entrepreneurial spirit to operate in a bona fide startup environment - high drive and work ethic, adaptable to change, fast learner

Other basic qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's Degree (business or finance degree a plus)
  • US Work Authorization

Compensation
  • Base salary: $160,000
  • Performance bonus: 20%
  • Discretionary bonus: based on over-performance and/or BD contributions
  • Profit-sharing: Yes
  • Equity: Yes (options)
