As Pricing Manager covering Deal Desk you will lead the financial analysis related to customer contracts and pricing for key North American customers and sectors. You will business partner with Sales and enables sustainable profitable growth through customer P&L analysis, deal structure and driving price/mix improvement. You will sit in the pricing and product management organization and report to the Regional Pricing Director.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, lead, develop, coach and mentor a team of analysts
  • Lead Excel based financial analysis for customer deals including margin improvement, price and mix optimization and annual sales and profit targets.
  • Partner with Leadership to drive sales in each sector, exceed pricing targets, and enforce ROI and pricing guardrails.
  • Responsible for effective and efficient customer deal execution, including new customer deal, existing customer deal extensions, existing customer portfolio changes.
  • Collaborate with Global Pricing team to develop, implement and leverage Solenis best practice pricing tools and analysis.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely customer pricing setup in SAP and communication of pricing to customers.
  • Ad hoc analysis of financial data to identify and execute improvement opportunities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree (Business degree preferred).
  • Experience leading a team
  • Minimum 5 years' combined experience in negotiation and managing customer deal economics with background in Pricing, Finance, Procurement or Sales strongly preferred
  • Strong negotiation experience is required, including pricing and sales/procurement negotiations
  • Demonstrated proficiency all MS Office applications, with a high proficiency in MS Excel
  • Value-add mindset with demonstrated track record of delivering results and process improvement
  • Experience with accurately compiling, analyzing, presenting and interpreting financial information and data to facilitate decision-making
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and effective facilitation skills - Should be able to facilitate group discussions
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Action orientated
  • Collaborative team player
  • Experience with pricing software (e.g. Vistex, PriceFx, etc) and SAP preferred

You will ideally be located in the Fort Mill, SC., Wilmington, DE, or Mississauga, Ontario, Canada areas (hybrid work from home/in office schedule), but fully remote maybe considered.

Travel requirements -> 10%

The expected compensation range for this position is between $84,980.00 and $124,630.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
