• Identify individuals and communities in distress, connecting them to essential resources and support systems.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs, strengths, and support networks to collaboratively set personalized goals.
• Guide clients through significant transitions, assisting them in adapting to challenges such as medical diagnoses, relationship changes, or unemployment.
• Research and advocate for community resources, including assistance programs for food, healthcare, and childcare, to improve clients' overall well-being.
• Provide immediate support during crisis situations, such as mental health emergencies or instances of abuse, ensuring safety while working towards resolution.
• Regularly monitor clients’ progress, utilizing follow-up sessions to ensure effective implementation of therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain accurate case files and document all interactions in compliance with organizational standards and regulations.

Your clients will span various demographics, including individuals struggling with mental health issues, families encountering social barriers, and community members seeking assistance with substance abuse. This diverse focus allows you to apply your skills to a wide range of situations, impacting lives profoundly.

• A Master’s degree in Social Services from an accredited institution is required.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role within an outpatient healthcare setting.
• A current and active California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) license (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills that foster trust and create a calming, supportive therapeutic environment.

• Experience or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a plus, though not a strict requirement.
• Familiarity with digital healthcare platforms and remote therapy tools to efficiently engage with clients.
• Background in community outreach or macro social work may enhance your contribution to program development strategies.

The salary for this position ranges between $100,000 and $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
