ABOUT THE ROLE

FOX One is seeking a Temp - Senior Animator / Video Editor to lead high-impact animation and post-production across brand, product, and campaign initiatives. This position requires an animator first, editor second, with strong design sensibilities, expert motion craft, and fluency in AI-driven video workflows.

You will collaborate closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to concept, design, animate, and edit polished, broadcast-quality content for digital, product, brand, and event platforms. The role requires strong creative judgment, technical excellence, and the ability to independently drive projects from initial brief through final delivery.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Animation & Design (Primary Focus)

  • Concept, design, and animate high-impact motion assets for FOX One campaigns, brand storytelling, product demos, and cross-platform initiatives.
  • Create static keyframes, styleframes, title/logo animations, typography systems, and fully realized motion sequences.
  • Animate App UI interactions, feature walk-throughs, and product flows for sizzle videos and explainers.
  • Design and animate FOX One branded end cards, transitional elements, and modular graphic packages for video.
  • Produce GIFs and micro-animations for CRM, email marketing, and internal communications.
  • Create and version App Store preview videos, optimizing for pacing, clarity, device formats, and platform requirements.
  • Execute 2D and 3D animation while bringing a strong design foundation and cinematic motion sensibilities.
  • Develop look frames and storyboards that interpret creative briefs into cohesive visual systems.
  • Ensure all motion and static assets meet brand, color, and technical standards across formats and aspect ratios.

Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit and deliver polished content for broadcast-quality brand and product campaigns.
  • Produce cutdowns, re-specs, and re-versioned edits tailored to varying durations, platforms, and technical specs.
  • Manage end-to-end editorial workflow: ingest, organization, edit, mix, color, graphics integration, QC, and final export.
  • Capture and deliver high-quality screenshots/still frames from video content for marketing, product, and design needs.
  • Maintain clean file structures, version control, and workflow consistency across all deliverables.
  • Self-QC all animation, edits, composites, and exports for visual and technical accuracy.

AI Video Tools Integration

  • Leverage AI-powered video, animation, and asset-generation tools (e.g., Runway, Sora, Pika, Stable Diffusion, Firefly, or similar) to enhance concepting, production, and iteration speed.
  • Use AI tools for rotoscoping, cleanup, asset generation, previsualization, and motion enhancement.
  • Stay current on emerging AI technology and introduce new methods that improve workflow efficiency and creative output.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 5+ years of experience in motion design and video editing across brand, entertainment, sports, or tech.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, with strong compositing, animation, and design capabilities.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D tools (Cinema 4D or equivalent).
  • Proven experience using AI-driven video and animation tools in a professional setting.
  • Ability to design and animate across multiple aspect ratios and delivery environments, including digital, social, product, CRM, and App Store ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of codecs, frame rates, aspect ratios, and delivery specs.
  • Excellent design eye: composition, typography, layout, and how they translate into motion.
  • Strong editorial instincts and ability to craft narrative, pacing, and rhythm.
  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Portfolio demonstrating excellence in animation, design, editorial, and brand storytelling.
