This is a leadership position focused on protecting the owner's interests throughout the entire project lifecycle. The successful candidate will oversee critical MEP infrastructure from design through commissioning and turnover while driving schedule, budget, quality, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.

This is not a field execution role. Instead, this individual will serve as a strategic leader responsible for identifying project risks, reviewing designs, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery on behalf of ownership.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with previous owner-side experience who understand the complexities of hyperscale data center construction and can effectively influence project outcomes at a high level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Owner's Representative throughout all phases of the project.
  • Provide oversight of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems from design through turnover.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, submittals, and construction documentation.
  • Identify design gaps, constructability concerns, coordination conflicts, and project risks.
  • Drive project schedules, budgets, and overall project performance.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities.
  • Lead collaboration between owners, contractors, consultants, and design teams.
  • Monitor quality standards and project compliance.
  • Support commissioning activities and operational readiness planning.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide executive-level project updates.
  • Develop solutions to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure accountability across all project stakeholders.

Required QualificationsMust Have
  • Previous experience serving as an Owner's Representative or working directly on the owner side of large-scale construction projects.

  • Experience reviewing construction drawings and identifying design deficiencies.
  • Proven success managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mechanical Engineering experience
  • Experience supporting mission-critical or hyperscale environments.
  • Experience with:
    • Procore
    • Bluebeam
    • Project Scheduling
    • Schedule Planning
    • Project Coordination
  • Experience overseeing large-scale data center design and construction projects.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate understands how to represent ownership interests on highly complex construction projects. They can proactively identify issues before they become problems, challenge assumptions when necessary, drive accountability among project teams, and ensure successful project outcomes.

We're seeking someone who can walk into meetings prepared with solutions, manage multiple stakeholders effectively, and confidently lead discussions related to schedule, quality, risk, and project execution.

Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Work on a landmark hyperscale data center development.
  • Represent ownership on a high-visibility mission-critical project.
  • Influence major project decisions from design through commissioning.
  • Collaborate with top-tier construction, engineering, and commissioning teams.
  • Long-term project stability with a 24-month engagement.
