Traveling Project Superintendent

Project Superintendent — Traveling

Full-time Travel required Starts in Cedar Rapids, IA

We're hiring an experienced Traveling Project Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple project sites. This role starts in Cedar Rapids, IA and will transition to out-of-state work later in 2026 — making it a great fit for a superintendent ready to grow their career on larger, multi-state projects.

Per diem provided for all out-of-state assignments, covering lodging and daily expenses while traveling.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead daily toolbox talks, assign tasks, and oversee a crew of up to 20 field workers

Track crew hours, project assignments, and submit daily Time & Materials (T&M) tickets

Enforce all safety protocols, conduct weekly site audits, and address hazards immediately

Coordinate with up to 10 client representatives to receive, prioritize, and fulfill work requests

Manage materials ordering, delivery scheduling, and forward-looking manpower planning

Communicate field issues, scope changes, and client concerns to project management

Relocate to out-of-state project sites as assignments dictate later this year

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Proven experience supervising field crews of 10+ in construction, industrial, or similar environments

Willingness and ability to travel and work out of state for extended periods

OSHA 30 certification preferred

Proficiency with project management software and standard productivity tools

Strong communicator — comfortable directing crews and engaging clients professionally

Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities across fast-moving job sites

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
