Job Description: Residential Relocation Salesperson

Dircks Moving amp; Logistics is seeking a Residential Salesperson who will be involved in interactions with our Customers, Operations, and Customer Support while ensuring we deliver the highest quality service to our customers.
SUMMARY
This role is responsible for executing residential sales from survey through close by conducting accurate in-home and virtual estimates, managing leads and CRM pipelines, and achieving revenue, profit, and closing targets. The position also focuses on generating self-sourced leads, maintaining strong referral relationships, ensuring operational alignment for booked moves, and representing the company professionally while continuously improving sales performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sales Execution and Closing
  • Conduct in home and virtual surveys with prospective residential customers to accurately assess move scope and requirements.
  • Maintain a strong closing mindset with accountability for follow up.
  • Achieve and maintain target closing ratios and individual revenue and profit goals.
  • Prepare estimates, contracts, and required documentation accurately and on time.
Follow Up and CRM Pipeline Management
  • Execute timely follow-up on all assigned leads using CRM workflows, calls, texts, and email.
  • Actively maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including notes, tasks, next steps, and status changes.
  • Review commissions, pending shipments, closing ratios, and performance metrics regularly.
Lead Generation and Relationship Building
  • Proactively generate self-sourced leads through relationship building with realtors, property managers, senior living communities, builders, and local referral partners.
  • Attend networking events, community functions, and industry related opportunities to build brand presence and referral flow.
  • Cultivate long term referral relationships that consistently produce residential moving opportunities.
Survey Accuracy and Operational Alignment
  • Deliver accurate estimates within acceptable variance for weight and cubic footage.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current pricing, transit options, and service offerings.
  • Use all required estimating and survey tools correctly for both virtual and in-home surveys.
  • Clearly explain estimates, valuation options, service levels, and move expectations to customers.
  • Coordinate closely operations and customer service to ensure smooth execution of booked moves.
Professional Standards and Team Contribution
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and ride-alongs as required.
  • Apply feedback from leadership to continuously improve sales performance and customer experience.
  • Assist in covering overflow leads or internal support needs when required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, communication style, and brand representation at all times.
