Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION Role and Responsibilities


1. Performs preventive maintenance (PM’s) and DOT compliance on trailer equipment.

2. Diagnose service, and repair reefer (refrigerated) trailer units.

3. Complete work orders, document parts used, and labor hours for repairs completed.

4. Perform Emergency Roadside Services.

5. Responsible for truck cleanliness and organization.

6. Ensure the service truck is fueled and complete proper maintenance to ensure the service truck remains operational.

7. Guarantee Service truck parts are inventoried and restocked parts as needed - this includes taking along parts that may be needed to complete repairs on site.

8. Communicate effectively with the Manager and Dispatch to coordinate repairs and meet customer requirements.

9. Ensure every mechanic knows how or has the knowledge to complete each task on the checklist given before being certified.

10. Ensures new hires can use Industrac


Qualifications and Education Requirements • DOT CERTIFIED • Valid Driver’s License • Attention to detail. • Ability to work well with others.
