Job description

Who We Are:

Symetria Recovery is the #1 outpatient rehab in Illinois and Texas. It started with three simple, yet game-changing core beliefs: Addiction is a disease; co-occurring mental health conditions should be addressed, and patients deserve respect, not judgement. Symetria Recovery provides comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a focus on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in a welcoming outpatient setting. Unlimited clinical services are available to our patients under our bundled-service delivery model. Key services delivered through our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) licensure include MAT, medically monitored psychiatric care, individual therapy, group therapy (IOP), 6-day-per-week nursing care, and ongoing aftercare. Most of our patients being provided medication receive Buprenorphine products, but they can also receive Methadone, and any other FDA-approved medication for addiction.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' substance use history, current challenges, and treatment needs.
  • Develop individualized, developmentally appropriate treatment plans in alignment with patient goals and clinical best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment plans, progress updates, and narrative notes in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and facilitate individual counseling sessions, guiding patients toward insight, accountability, and progress in recovery.
  • Lead group counseling sessions to foster discussion, peer support, and the sharing of recovery strategies.
  • Equip patients with coping skills and behavioral management techniques to sustain long-term recovery.
  • Create comprehensive discharge plans that include aftercare treatment, relapse prevention strategies, and community-based supports.
  • Coordinate referrals to medical, psychiatric, and specialized community services as needed.
  • Deliver case management services to address the biopsychosocial needs of patients, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Advocate on behalf of patients to secure access to necessary services, resources, and supports.
  • Schedule, arrange, and track additional treatment or supportive services to promote recovery progress.

Who You Are:

  • Licensed or certified as an LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LSW, or CADC in the state of employment.
  • Knowledgeable of MAT/OTP federal regulations and treatment protocols.
  • 1-3 years of experience in substance use counseling.
  • Proficient in group facilitation, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and evidence-based addiction treatment methods
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing counseling and case management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff and support patients through their recovery journey.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Competent in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records.

Benefits Available to You:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Life insurance
  • Pet insurance
  • CEU reimbursement and paid time for continuing education
  • Licensure fee reimbursement
  • Paid vacation and sick time
  • Closed and paid major holidays

Compensation for this position is based on market analysis and will be determined by additional factors such as location/state, skills, years of experience, relevant credentials, and education. The posted compensation range for this role is $25.75-$31.00 per hour. We are committed to offering a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects all the factors previously outlined in conjunction with current market trends.

Come join a team that believes in and has a passion for providing personalized care to each individual that is a part of Symetria Recovery!
