Job Description

AHMG Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology at Tampa

3100 E. Fletcher Ave., Suite 126, Tampa, FL 33613

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, PRN schedule

Monitors and manages daily workflow, including patient communication, transportation, and discharge.

Follows infection control standards and handles pharmaceutical waste according to training.

Participates in data collection and performance improvement projects.

Performs quality assurance on imaging equipment and report any issues promptly.

Other duties as assigned. Performs ultrasound imaging exams on patients of all age groups, ensuring high-quality results.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as IDX, Radworks, Current PACS application. Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures. Maintain responsibility for all continuing and annual education. Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures.

Education

High School Grad or Equivalent [Required]

Technical/Vocational School [Required]

Field of Study

Technical/Vocational School satisfactory completion of approved medical sonography program [Required]

Work Experience

One plus year of experience in a hospital or private practice environment [Required]

Licenses and Certifications

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) [Preferred]

Pay Range: $26.33 – $48.98

Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
