Job description

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don't just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset - who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
Snowflake empowers more than 10,000 organizations worldwide to unlock the full potential of AI-driven data, shaping the future of intelligent business. As companies embrace transformative AI and data workloads, controlling who can access what - and proving it - is not just important: it's essential.
Join the Security Platform team at the heart of this revolution, where YOU will lead the charge in building the identity and access foundation that customers trust to protect their most sensitive data and AI workloads. Identity and access management is both the foundation and the catalyst for Snowflake's bold mission - and your work will directly shape how thousands of organizations govern access at global scale.
As a Senior Product Manager in our fast-moving, hands-on, customer-focused team, you'll drive innovative IAM and authorization solutions that give customers precise control over who can see, do, and build on their data. You'll have ownership of delivering cutting-edge capabilities including role-based access control (RBAC), privilege management, identity governance, authentication policy enforcement, and AI-powered access intelligence experiences.
You will team up with talented engineers, collaborate across functions, and shape the roadmap for IAM products that not only meet industry best practices but set new standards for least-privilege access in the cloud data ecosystem.
AS A SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
  • Own and manage the product roadmap for Snowflake's role-based access control (RBAC) and IAM platform, including privilege management, identity governance, and authentication policy enforcement
  • Translate complex authorization and identity requirements into detailed product specs and user stories for the Snowflake platform
  • Leverage AI to deliver intelligent access governance experiences on Snowflake, from privilege recommendations and access intelligence to anomaly detection
  • Shape how Snowflake governs access for AI agents and non-human identities, an emerging frontier in identity security
  • Engage directly with security and IAM teams at enterprise customers to deeply understand their access control pain points, compliance requirements, and governance workflows
  • Define and track success metrics for adoption of IAM features including role hierarchies, privilege grants, and policy enforcement
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams (compliance, legal, enterprise security) to ensure successful product launches
OUR IDEAL SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER WILL HAVE:
  • 5+ years of product management experience with successful product launches
  • Deep understanding of identity and access management concepts: RBAC, ABAC, privilege management, least-privilege principles, identity governance, and authentication policies
  • Technical credibility to engage in architectural discussions around authorization models, token-based identity, and directory integrations (SAML, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC)
  • Experience defining and launching IAM or access control products in a cloud or SaaS environment
  • Familiarity with enterprise IAM compliance requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, ISO 27001) and how access governance feeds into audit workflows
  • Strong customer empathy and problem-solving abilities, especially the ability to translate compliance and security team needs into elegant, scalable product solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders

BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
  • Experience with agentic AI identity, non-human identity governance, or authorization for autonomous workloads (MCP, workload identity)
  • Familiarity with AI-driven access intelligence, continuous least-privilege enforcement, or identity threat detection
  • Exposure to building products that serve CISOs, VPs of Identity, and enterprise security buyers
  • Understanding of Zero Trust architectures and modern authentication standards (FIDO2, WebAuthn, passkeys)

Snowflake is growing fast, and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
