Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Workforce Identity will lead the strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of identity platforms serving the internal workforce and applications. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Identity Access Management, this role is pivotal in enforcing security policies, driving automation, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for building secure identity ecosystems in hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identity Platform Management: Oversee the administration and optimization of identity providers including Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and Active Directory for internal workforce use.

  • Security Enforcement: Lead deployment and enforcement of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access policies, and Zero Trust principles.

  • Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure alignment with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).

  • Privileged Access Management: Harden the environment by restricting administrative access and leveraging Just-in-Time (JIT) access controls to enforce principle of least privilege.

  • Automation & Lifecycle Management: Drive automation initiatives for user lifecycle processes, reporting, and role-based access controls (RBAC).

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, IT, Security, and Audit teams to align identity strategies with business needs.

  • Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain audit-ready documentation and deliver metrics on identity system performance and compliance posture.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.

  • Hands-on experience with identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and SailPoint.

  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, RBAC, and compliance frameworks.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver scalable technical solutions.

  • Experience implementing and managing MFA, Conditional Access, and automation workflows.

  • Familiarity with automation platforms such as AWS, Azure DevOps, and Okta Workflows.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in regulated industries or public company environments.

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and cloud-native identity solutions.

  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
