Job description

Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.



Job Title: CI/CD Engineer – Tier 1

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CI/CD Engineer to join the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (RA ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC NT). In this role, you will design, implement, test, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for mission-critical software delivery. You will also troubleshoot pipeline issues, enhance automation processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient software delivery aligned with SDLC and DevOps best practices.


What You’ll Experience

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.
  • Troubleshooting complex pipeline and integration issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Collaborating with developers, testers, and operations teams to integrate automation, code quality checks, and deployment standards.
  • Contributing to infrastructure and operations automation through scripting, testing, and debugging.
  • Supporting domain management, including user account creation, role-based access control (RBAC), and group policy management.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Proven experience with GitLab and Jenkins for automated pipeline creation and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in configuration management and automation tools like Ansible.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and DevOps best practices.
  • Experience creating bash or PowerShell scripts for automation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with software developers and testers.
  • DoD 8570 or 8140 Certification Compliance.
