Job description

D.R.S. Stairs, Inc. is seeking a responsible Construction Office Project Manager to join our team. Duties include daily communication between field project managers, office staff, clients, and vendors; scheduling; budgeting and cost control; proposals; regular office needs; and upholding our service-oriented mentality. We've been operating in the Bay Area for over 35 years and need someone to join our office staff that has exceptional oral and written communication skills, QuickBooks experience, and general knowledge of office equipment and other computer software. Experience with the construction industry is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Regular correspondence with employees, clients, and vendors.
  • Primary contact for client relations.
  • Organize and schedule appointments on multiple calendars.
  • Manage property maintenance and property files for billing and scheduling.
  • Oversee bookkeeping, primarily focused on accounts payable/receivables.
  • Regular construction site visits to coordinate with other managers, clients, and vendors.
  • Prepare proposals, budgets and change orders specific to each job.
  • Coordinate with field project managers to develop schedules, maintenance, and documents per project.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with construction project management, building and remodeling processes; property management a plus.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, iOS, Google, etc.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Working knowledge of the English language; Spanish is a plus.
  • At least 18 years of age and legally able to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid California Driver's License.
  • Other tasks as assigned based upon the needs of D.R.S. Stairs, Inc. and/or the client.
