QA & Release Manager, Point of Sale Applications
TITLE: QA & Release Manager, Point of Sale Applications
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Ensure the quality of all Point-of-Sale product features across various surfaces including Merchant (web) dashboard, Clover POS devices and mobile devices. Define, implement, and govern quality engineering standards and metrics across multiple feature teams. Architect and develop reusable automation testing components and implement a strategic roadmap for the entire automation platform focusing on scalability and optimization. Release governance and cross team release management across EU, APAC, and NA regions. Integrate automation framework into development CI/CD pipelines ensuring end-to-end traceability and security compliance. Deploy web applications and micro services to pre-production and production environments across the US and internationally. Work with stakeholders in other QA teams, Product and Engineering functions to secure sign offs for scheduled and unscheduled releases and manage critical communication during high-stakes deployments. Provide detailed reports to senior management on product quality on a regular basis. Allocate and supervise the work of the other QA engineers on the team. Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving software quality assurance and release management experience. Prior experience must include 4 years in the following: Scripting in Java, Javascript, Python, and Shell; Working with functional testing automation tools and frameworks; Working with DevOps tools, including Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms; Working with build and deployment tools including Jenkins and cloud deployment tools; and Working in Linux environments.
