Four Winds Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement comprehensive treatment plans rooted in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to CBT, DBT, and ACT.
  • Engage with clients during crisis management situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques and intervention methods to provide immediate support.
  • Collect, analyze, and document patient data effectively to track progress, gauge treatment outcomes, and inform future therapeutic decisions.
  • Ensure a professional, secure, and confidential virtual therapeutic environment that fosters trust and openness with clients.
  • Participate actively in supervision sessions, seeking to enhance day-to-day practice and professional development opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base includes individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a variety of mental health challenges. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with patients of all ages, including children and adolescents, addressing their specific developmental needs and fostering resilience across the lifespan. You will also have the opportunity to support clients in integrating innovative therapeutic practices, including those based on emerging research in professional psychedelic integration counseling.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Current Washington State Licensure as an LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) or LMHC-A (Associate).
  • Prior experience (minimum of 1 year) within behavioral or mental health settings is mandatory.
  • Proficient understanding of trauma-informed care principles and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport and establish strong therapeutic alliances with clients.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective documentation and collaboration with colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing counseling services in mental health or integration counseling contexts.
  • Knowledge of developmental considerations in pediatric mental health care.
  • A positive track record of managing crisis situations in clinical settings.
  • A personal commitment to lived experience within mental health, education, or healthcare systems.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, reflecting the level of experience and qualifications brought to the team.
