Security Officer Entrance Desk

As a Security Officer Entrance Desk in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for tenants and visitors. You will manage access, monitor entry activity, assist with security-related inquiries, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Tue 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Wed 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Thur 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Fri 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and visitor management protocols.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as required, issue visitor passes, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
  • Answer incoming calls, manage inquiries, and communicate relevant information to building management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident records while helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting a professional lobby environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
