Slifco Electric is a premier electrical contracting firm serving the Automotive, Heavy Industrial, and Mission Critical sectors. We specialize in both ground-up construction and major renovations, managing electrical packages ranging from small service work to multi-million-dollar installations.
We’re looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects from bidding through execution and closeout. You’ll be the key point of contact for clients, general contractors, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
The Role:
As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of project delivery – including estimating, scheduling, coordination, cost management, and team leadership. You will drive project success while maintaining strong client relationships and enforcing Slifco Electric’s safety and quality standards.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced electrical construction professional ready to manage multi-million-dollar projects across a variety of sectors.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Manage the bid process, including pre-bid meetings and project walk-throughs.
  • Assemble final bid proposals including labor, materials, subcontractors, and all relevant costs.
  • Lead contract negotiations, final scope review, and confirmation.
  • Serve as the primary project contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Establish and maintain client relationships throughout project lifecycle.
  • Attend internal and external meetings, coordinating with trades, contractors, and clients.
  • Manage general project functions: submittals, subcontracts, purchase orders, document revisions, manpower and material flow.
  • Establish, manage, and maintain project schedules and milestones.
  • Monitor, manage, and forecast job costs to maximize profitability.
  • Communicate delays or scope changes and resolve potential cost impacts with clients or contractors.
  • Assign team responsibilities, summarize progress, and manage project deliverables.
  • Oversee project execution alongside Foremen and Superintendent.
  • Ensure proper staffing and resource allocation for each project.
  • Work with Safety Director and Superintendent to maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations.
  • Manage reporting of project status, including financials and progress updates.

What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical Project Management and Estimating.

  • Experience with estimating software (e.g., Accu-Bid, McCormick).
  • Ability to manage estimates in excess of $1M and project volumes of $3M–$4M annually .

  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
    Preferred Experience:

  • Commercial, Institutional, Automotive, and Heavy Industrial electrical projects.

Why You'll Love Working Here:
  • Lead high-profile projects with complex electrical systems.
