POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Project Manager leads complex and high-value projects, demonstrating advanced expertise in project management practices. This role includes mentoring junior team members, managing multiple large-scale projects, and serving as a strategic partner to clients. The Senior Project Manager ensures projects are delivered profitably and align with organizational objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
  • Create detailed project plans, including scope of work, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Prepare requests, including but not limited to, drawing requests, fabrication and installation work orders, survey requests, permit requests, and purchase order requests.
  • Oversee all phases of project execution, including design, fabrication, and installation.
  • Regularly track project performance against the plan, adjusting schedules and resources as necessary to stay on target.
  • Facilitate collaboration across teams to streamline project delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project strategies, identifying potential risks and mitigation plans.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct detailed cost analyses and ensure profitability for assigned projects.
  • Manage project closeout activities, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • After project completion, assess project performance, document lessons learned, and identify areas for improvement to inform future projects.Lead end-to-end project execution for high-complexity projects.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Project Managers and Coordinators.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for project-related issues.
  • Ensure alignment between project execution and company goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager or 3-5 years of experience in project management, including leadership roles.
  • PMP Certification strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage high-complexity projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Expertise in financial analysis and contract negotiation.
  • Advanced proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Manual dexterity to operate a computer and perform administrative tasks. Visual acuity (with correction) and the ability to speak and hear. Primarily sedentary work, with occasional walking, standing, or carrying of light materials.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The work environment includes both office settings and manufacturing facilities. This role may involve occasional exposure to factory conditions such as noise, fumes, dust, and mist.  

TRAVEL

This position may require up to 20% travel, including overnight stays.
