Position Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Sales Project Manager to help expand our commercial division while managing projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial roofing estimating experience who can build client relationships, secure new opportunities, and oversee project execution.

You will play a key role in business development, project planning, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Candidates with strong estimating expertise but limited project management experience are encouraged to applywe will train the right person on our internal project management systems and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new commercial roofing opportunities through business development and relationship building
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, managers, general contractors, and key stakeholders
  • Prepare accurate commercial roofing estimates, including material take-offs, labor, equipment, and pricing strategy
  • Develop proposals and revise estimates based on scope changes or client feedback
  • Manage commercial roofing projects from contract through completion
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and timelines
  • Maintain organized project documentation including contracts, drawings, specifications, submittals, and correspondence
  • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding project status, profitability, and timelines
  • Resolve project challenges proactively to keep jobs on track and clients informed
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in commercial roofing estimating, including material take-offs and pricing strategy (required)
  • Demonstrated project management experience preferred; however, candidates with strong technical estimating expertise will be trained on our internal project management SOPs
  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
  • Proficiency with estimating software and project management tools
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
