Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Manager Project Management 1based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager Project Management 1 to lead and manage all aspects of office and select administrative operations. The OU Integration Manager will serve as the primary liaison between external and internal customers, and ensuring the seamless integration of the COLUMBIA Operating Unit (OU) with other departments. This role will require excellent leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple dynamic portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the OU on select administrative matters, providing recommendations, interpreting, and implementing company, and internal administrative policies and procedures.
  • Prepare budgeting reports, project schedules, and statistical reports as needed.

COLUMBIA OU Integration:
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of COLUMBIA OU integration, coordinating efforts between external customers and internal teams.
  • Function as the OU lead for site event planning, VIP interactions, and executive engagement.
  • Lead/Facilitate the preparation of proposals, business plans, work statements, operating budgets, and financial terms for the OU's projects and programs.
  • Be responsible for the standardization of expectations for business practices across programs within the OU. Those business practices include Monthly and Comprehensive Estimates-At-Complete, Proposals, and Internal/External Program Management Reviews.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all COLUMBIA OU activities, including managing meeting logistics, handling internal projects related to facilities, and budget management.
  • Manage and mentor administrative staff within the OU to ensure alignment and adherence to organizational goals.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years OR a Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience is required. (4 additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in administrative or operational management, preferably in a construction or Defense Contractor environment.
  • Experience managing complex administrative tasks across multiple programs.
  • Proven record of successful project execution.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government secret clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Primary Level Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $165,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
