Job description

The Manager of Project Controls reports to the Director of Project Controls and Business Operations and is responsible for overseeing and managing daily project accounting functions within the Construction Department.This role supervises Construction Project Administrators (CPAs) and Construction Project Liaisons (CPLs), and leads the construction projects budget management process, including POCOs, ODPs, and Buyouts, etc.. The Manager collaborates closely with Project Accounting, Supply Chain, and Accounts Payable to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Additionally, this position is responsible for developing dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making by senior leadership. Estimated salary range for this position is $108816.92 - $141462.00 / year depending on experience.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred. 
  • Candidates must have 4-6 years of relevant experience in data analysis, project management, and financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on construction project accounting.
  • This role requires advanced proficiency in data management and reporting tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. 
  • Experience with construction project management software (e.g., E-Builder) is a plus.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of effectively supervising and developing staff, with strong leadership, accountability, and performance management skills.
