Job description


This position is based in Nashville, Tennessee. Candidates must be able to work on-site according to the team's schedule.
Oversees Data Center Operations across multiple data centers, managing and integrating team performance, operations metrics, and capacity analysis into the broader business line strategy. Directs multiple teams in supporting escalated technical issues, crisis management, and root cause analysis, while standardizing processes and maintaining an accurate knowledge base. Leads new region builds and expansion activities, acting as a senior liaison with project and engineering teams to manage timelines, capacity, and ensure adherence to world-class standards. Guides teams responsible for installations, repairs, inventory, and logistics, enforces standards for component replacements and upgrades, recommends significant purchases, and implements advanced maintenance strategies to optimize data center efficiency and stability.

  • Lead the PMO operations function for a portfolio of operational and strategic programs supporting global data center operations.
  • Define program scope, success criteria, milestones, deliverables, and governance models in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Build and manage detailed program plans, schedules, resource models, and reporting cadences across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain operational governance, standards, and execution frameworks to improve consistency, quality, and accountability.
  • Coordinate activities across operations, engineering, facilities, construction, product, and business stakeholders to ensure effective execution and clear ownership.
  • Identify and manage dependencies, operational risks, and program issues; develop mitigation plans and drive closure.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program health, executive updates, escalations, and stakeholder communications.
  • Lead program reviews, readiness reviews, and business rhythm mechanisms to ensure alignment with operational objectives, compliance requirements, and organizational priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data, lessons learned, KPI reporting, and process optimization.
  • Oversee program budgets, resource allocation, and prioritization to ensure efficient use of people, tools, and funding.
  • Track and report performance metrics, KPIs, and portfolio health indicators to leadership.
  • Mentor and develop project/program managers and support the growth of a high-performing PMO team.
  • Support tool strategy and implementation efforts, including evaluation, process discovery, integration planning, and deployment of operational platforms such as CMMS and workflow tools.
  • Lead organizational scaling efforts by establishing team structure, onboarding approaches, role clarity, and operating norms for rapidly growing teams.

Preferred Background
  • 8+ years of experience in program management, PMO leadership, operations, or mission-critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience in global data center operations, facility operations, startup and readiness, maintenance, or technical operations.
  • Proven success establishing governance frameworks, operating standards, and process controls across large-scale organizations.
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional programs involving engineering, operations, construction, product, and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies, compliance requirements, risks, and multi-team execution.
  • Experience leading tool or systems initiatives, including process discovery, capability review, integration assessment, and final product selection.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate operational complexity into clear executive updates.
  • People leadership experience, including building, mentoring, and scaling teams.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $126,200 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
