Job description

Job Title: Master Scheduler Location: Corvallis, OR Type: Contract Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Overview System One has an exciting contract opportunity for a Master Scheduler to support our client onsite in Corvallis, OR.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and documentation of standards and processes for integrated master scheduling for our client with a focus on integration across large programs.
  • Lead the development and management of the Integrated Master Schedule and coordinate with project controls leads to incorporate Program Level Schedules and other external schedules. Develop and maintain a basis of schedule document.
  • Issue periodic status reports related to program/project progress including critical path analysis, milestone variances, milestone completions, and top-level resource issues.
  • Lead the resolution of issues among various stakeholders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a B.S. or B.A. degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, or Business Administration is required. Directly applicable technical working experience is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of full-time working experience in a project planning / scheduling for large projects is required.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with an emphasis on coordinating conflicting demands and priorities.
  • Strong technical writing skills. Good communication, computer, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience in leading and mentoring supporting Schedulers.
  • Planning, Scheduling, Last Planner, Primavera P6.
  • Oracle ERP experience is preferred.
  • Eligible to work under Department of Energy regulation 10 CFR, Part 810.

  • Ability to understand and communicate clearly using a phone, personal interaction, and computers.
  • Ability to learn new job functions and comprehend and understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately in a rapidly evolving environment.
