ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Project Accountant to oversee the financial management of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking project costs, managing fixed assets, managing budgets, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Track, analyze, and report project costs, including capital expenditures and operating expenses 
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to address financial needs and resolve discrepancies. 
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism. 
  • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite and Excel to create reports and perform data analysis. 
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including pivot tables, to support project requirements. 
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders to provide updates and address financial concerns. 
  • Perform regular reconciliations to verify data integrity. 
  • Assist in testing and improving processes related to accounting and project management.

Requirements 

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field  
  • 3+ years of  experience in project accounting, preferably within construction required  
  • Proficiency in NetSuite software. 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
